This Rocky Horror compilation is one of two supplemental albums which came with TRHPS 15th Anniversary Box Set. The other compilation offered in the set was Songs From The Vaults. This album is only available in TRHPS 15th Anniversary Box Set.

This album is a good compilation for newer fans, or those unfamiliar with all the cast recordings of TRHS out there. But for the hard-core fan, it leaves a lot to be desired. This compilation serves as more of a sampler than a "Best Of" collection. Since the Original London Cast album was unavailable in the U.S. at the time this was released, there are four tracks from that recording offered here. Also, this album marks the debut of the songs 'The Sword Of Damocles' and 'Planet Schmanet, Janet' from TRHPS. (Although 'Planet Schmanet, Janet' IS incomplete; it ends with Janet screaming "STOP!") However, they are not the original studio-recorded tracks, they were taken straight from the film's soundtrack. Because of this, the sound quality is pretty horrible. Most of the music on this album was mastered off original vinyl records, and vinyl "scratches" are very audible in some songs.

The highlight of this album has to be 'Once In A While' from TRHPS. Originally recorded for inclusion in the film, then cut due to time constraints, this rare track has yet to appear on any other album. (Although the instrumental version IS available on The Rocky Horror Picture Show: "Sing It!" album.) This song is a masterpiece, and one of the best reasons for buying TRHPS 15th Anniversary Box Set.

*****AVAILABILITY*****
This album is only available as part of TRHPS 15th Anniversary Box Set, which is currently in print and available on CD and cassette from Rhino Records. It is usually sold in bigger music stores/outlets, and it can be special ordered.
