Lonely, when I was your age, I felt the same way as you. All of my friends were out there dating guys and many of them were having sex. I watched them and thought that I would do anything to be like them. I had a couple chances to lose my virginity in high school, but I never did. It just never felt like the right time to me. When I did have sex for the first time, it was with someone that I cared for very much and I felt that I was ready to do it. Before you have sex, please make sure that it's for the right reasons. If you just want to have sex because you want to change the way that you look in the eyes of your friends, then you might be doing it for all of the wrong reasons. Don't let others dictate how you will live your life. It's your life and you are free to live it however you like. This plan might backfire on you if your friends start to think of you as being an "easy" woman, if you know what I mean. Also, please remember that there is a big difference between sex and making love. Many of my friends have had sex with people that they didn't really care about and have told me that it's a very hollow experience. For me, I only want to make love with someone who I care for deeply and who feels the same way for me. Sharing that personal of a moment with someone that you feel deeply for is much better to me than having sex just because it feels good. It would be a lie for me to sit here and say that I didn't enjoy the times that I made love, but I want you to be sure that you are totally ready to do this. Once you do, there is no going back and you leave yourself open to many problems, from the way that people think of you to any number of diseases that you could catch to an unplanned pregnancy. With whatever you choose, please be careful and make sure that you won't be hurt.
