Lauri fishkitty@hotmail.com The Journey Begins Go for help at the castle Stay in the car and wait for help "Well, he insisted that I give you the eye," Brad explained, "Oh, damnit, Janet, I love you!"
"Alright," Janet agreed, "Well go see Dr. Scott," and the two of them embraced.
That night they found themselves driving through a rainstorm. Janet was engrossed in her newspaper, but Brad was quickly becoming doubtful that he knew where they were. A headlight sped by them. "Gosh," Janet proclaimed, "thats the third motorcycle thats passed us! They sure do take
their lives into their hands what with the weather and all."
"Yes, Janet, lifes pretty cheap to that type," Brad agreed. His heart sank. He wiped at the windshield, but the view only confirmed his fears. There was a "Road Closed" sign not twenty feet away.
"Whats the matter, Brad darling?" Janet asked as Brad pulled the car to a stop.
"We must have taken a wrong fork. Guess well just have to turn back." Brad put the car in reverse, and Janet jumped as a forboding sound came from underneath.
"What was that bang?" she asked, startled.
"We must have a blowout. Damnit!" Brad smacked the seat between them, and Janet jumped again. "I knew I should have gotten that spare tire fixed! Well, you stay warm
and Ill go for help."
Janet gave him "that look." "Where will you go in the middle of nowhere?"
An idea crossed Brads face, "Didnt we pass a castle a few miles up the road? Maybe they have a telephone I could use."
